Fujifilm Digital SLR Cameras

Fujifilm strive to produce digital SLR cameras that shoot color-rich image with near-to-real-life colors, e.g. natural skin color, etc. Fujifilm SLR cameras utilize the Nikon Lens System. It won’t be hard to get a lens compatible with your Fujifilm SLR camera, as Nikon lenses are many on the market. This is quite handy; camera users of some manufacturers, e.g. Sony, pointed out that it can get extremely hard to find a compatible lens of your desire.
Probably the most complete Fujifilm SLR camera to date is Fujifilm FinePix S5 Pro. This camera guarantees some color-rich images, great highlight management and brilliant general photo quality. Quite disappointing, though, this SLR camera can’t offer high-speed shooting and many other advanced features. It utilizes the Nikon D200 body, but the Fuji’s own Super CCD image sensor and RP Processor Pro. Live view and face recognition together with other already generic functions are also included.
There is a more advanced version of S5 Pro, FinePix IS Pro. It has sensors sensitive to ultraviolet and infrared specters. It was designed for the forensic and scientific needs.
Currently, Fujifilm stopped production of the full SLR cameras, and focuses on the bridge models instead.
